The KS2 choir are pictured below being presented with a certificate of Appreciation by the President of Bristol Brunel Lions Club for singing at Tesco in support of a variety of beneficiaries. These included Elmfield School for Deaf Children, Avon Riding for the Disabled and the Lions Eye Health Programme-helping restore the sight in some people or pre-limiting blindness in others in India.
We are very fortunate to have an amazing choir who practice at school every Monday. Under the baton of Miss Wood and Mrs O'Neil the children from year 3 up take part in regular concerts and shows.
The children learn lots of new skills and it is great to see their confidence grow as they move up through the school.
Each June the children take part in a concert at Colston Hall, please see some photos below. Their next engagement will be Red Squirrel Day, our Summer Fayre.
Here the choirs get ready to sing.
One of our very talented Year 6 Boys Oliver was selected to sing the solo at Colston Hall. Oliver is also a chorister at Westbury on Trym Parish Church.
What amazing singing, all the children had a fantastic time and sang so well.
